The next big art event I’m planning is a joint venture with FOKUS to celebrate the publication of the latest issue of Insight Magazine. In their own words:

INSIGHT is a quarterly arts magazine that gives INSIGHT into the artists work and their creative process.  INSIGHT presents a tangible survey of the art world and serves as a platform for emerging and established artists to share their perspective on art.

The exhibit will feature work by artists that have been published in the magazine and I’ll be pulling in work from artists that have been shown on ArtinBrooklyn. I’ve been wanting to curate an exhibit with some of the excellent artists that have been on ArtinBrooklyn to get even more exposure to the amazing array of talent working in the area. To be able to co-host an event with the FOKUS group is an added bonus. They do fantastic community based work and are tireless in their efforts. Oh yeah, and they throw great parties!
